Absolutely legal ways to expand your awareness

There seems to be somewhat of a War on Consciousness in our society today. That’s okay. Fear not- there are still many legal ways you can expand your own awareness and consciousness. Here are just a few:

Sensory Deprivation Tank- A place to be in the world where you can experience absolutely nothing, like you’ve never experienced before! Invented by scientist John C. Lilly, you can now float in a tank where your body is completely void of outside stimulation. Filled with gallons and gallons of body temperature epsom salt, you get to experience the anti-gravity feeling of weightlessness in a completely pitch black environment, without a trace of sound. For the first time, you are able to consciously experience your body, without your body. Without being able to identify whether you are made up of male matter or female matter, your mind will have an experience like you’ve never considered possible. Many Out of body experiences have been reported in these deprivation tanks, as well as restfulness, total relaxation, mental clarity, and spiritual experiences.

Binaural Beats- From Wikipedia:
“A binaural beat is an auditory illusion perceived when two different pure-tone sine waves, both with frequencies lower than 1500 Hz, with less than a 40 Hz difference between them, are presented to a listener dichotically (one through each ear). For example, if a 530 Hz pure tone is presented to a subject's right ear, while a 520 Hz pure tone is presented to the subject's left ear, the listener will perceive the auditory illusion of a third tone, in addition to the two pure-tones presented to each ear. The third sound is called a binaural beat, and in this example would have a perceived pitch correlating to a frequency of 10 Hz, that being the difference between the 530 Hz and 520 Hz pure tones presented to each ear.”

Many people use binaural beats as an aid in meditation, as they often help to induce out of body experiences. NOt only that, but people often use these beats to help with self-confidence, self-love, studying, sleeping better, and many more!

Meditation and Yoga- These two are pretty typical, but there is a good reason for that! Meditation combined with some good ol’ fashioned yoga has been the cause of many, many spiritual breakthroughs and revelations throughout history. Correct thinking, usage of breath, and proper positions can really help to remove you from your ordinary reality. Plus, it’s is good for the body, as well!
